Well, it's been an amazing 5 years of growing barley and pea fodder for pigs.  Every day I seed trays and every day the hogs get around 300 pound of fresh sprouts a day.  Year round.  It is so satisfying to get to feed them green living protein packed homegrown food... But the real bonus is in their improved condition and bomber immune systems and the best.pork.ever.  $4 a pound liveweight, pigs all sizes are ready all year long.  If you don't want to be part of the harvesting process, then USDA fresh pork is available for $10 a pound in the package.  I try to keep all cuts in stock, but it's a challenge, because the quality is phenomenal and the word is out.  You can contact me through my Facebook page for Lunachick Farm to order food for your family!
